According to the official website, Rustem Teregulov rolled his car at turn 6 during the qualifying.

Halfway through the session the red flag was waved again after Rustem Teregulov’s BMW had a spectacular crash, hitting the barrier and rolling at T6. Despite his car was totally dismantled, the roll-cage withstood and the Russian driver walked away shocked, but unscathed.

That's one car that won't be racing tomorrow!

Plus there's no chance there were any TV cameras rolling either, unless this race is sharing the bill with some other series that do have TV coverage....

Weird that this will be right alongside the F1 race...will there be any repeats on Eurosport? :?

It's before the F1, so you can watch it live.

Looks like race 2 won't be shown at all because of the Football on Eurosport 2.

Where the fuck were the marshals?

I notice he already has quite bit of front end damage already before he went off. Surprised there is footage of it though, and good footage at that.

Those two races weren't very good at all.

The finale is this weekend at Franciacorta. Only 17 cars are entered, Thompson was fastest in the first test session.

Thompson's on pole and only 8 other cars qualified within 107% of his time  .

So is Thompson just suddenly turned good or is everyone else really bad.
