Seems absolutely bonkers that we're in a situation where commentators are reasonably saying Jordan could be out of the BTCC next year because Pirtek are off. He's comfortably in the top 5 drivers in the field |

Fingers crossed Jordan is able to land a new sponsor or BMW increases their funding that allows him to continue run. |

But that doesn't make it any less stupid. You'd think we were beyond that given that we have (on the surface) such a healthy field. Jordan's one of only two guys (along with Sutton) who can realistically stop Turkington winning the title quite comfortably this year - if it wasn't for Colin getting caught out by the weather at Brands he'd be way ahead in points already. The BMW is already looking like the class of the field. It could be that that crash at Donington is what costs Jordan a shot at the title at the end of the year |
