Safety car is out, looks like it'll be a dash to the finish.

DJR scores their first one-two since Lakeside in 1998! Coulthard leads them home.

Also that was their first championship win as well as DJR Team Penske, so today was a big day for them.

Percat's car has been changed a bit as well.

For no real reason they decided to make the onboard camera on the #8 car resemble a hamburger, which is just random.

Also Davison has been given the green light to return, and is waiting to see how he will do on Friday practice to check whether he is fit enough to run the double 250 kilometre races this weekend.

The supersprint wildcards have been confirmed. Davies, Le Brocq, Macauley Jones, Golding and Hazlewood will be the drivers, with all of those except Jones competing in the Ipswich round, meaning 30 cars and six Nissans for the largest field since Bathurst 2010.

The cameras have been referred to as "hamburger cams" since their inception.

The V8 Utes are running this weekend with only 10 cars entered, which is a sad state of affairs.

I would have thought that it would be quite obvious that the championship being completely replaced with a new series in three months is the reason why the grid is so small this weekend.

This is not the track you want to be having tyre problems

Jacobson had a right rear go into turn 1 at full speed and he spun through the sand trap, luckily pulling up before hitting anything. Edwards claims that he's taken a "very conservative approach to the set-up" on Garry's car, so I wonder what's going on there.
