They've ripped the #93 off already, with #1 in its place.

I take it nothing has come from the Lorenzo investigation?

Nice closing sequence from Eurosport. I'm going to miss them. Hope BT Sport does a decent job with decent commentators

Indeed, I hope I can still watch it next year, BBC lost the rights and I don't know if our 2 Belgian channels will retain their MotoGP coverage.

All in all it was a pretty good season, better than the last couple of years. I think I watched all the races for the first time, I usually skipped the early morning races.

It has the feeling of an 'end of an era' now that Eurosport wont be showing Moto GP anymore. At the risk of sounding all teary-eyed and nostalgic, Id like to take this moment to thank them for basically getting into MotoGP in the first place. The first race I ever watched was towards the end of the 2000 season (Estoril I think) and it was the enthusiasm and excitment of Toby and Julian's commentary that has kept me interested ever since. Whether it was 125cc, 250cc, 500cc, Moto2, Moto3, or MotoGP those guys were friggin awesome! The best commentary team ever, Ive got so many good memories of MotoGP over the years thanks to them. I hope BT Sport see sense and keep them on for next year

Pretty good season overall, enough drama to keep one entertained.

Interesting to note, of the 52 races across the 3 classes, 47 of them were won by Spanish riders.

And of the remaining ones, three were won by Scott Redding, one by Mika Kallio (both Marc VDS bikes) and one by a certain Italian guy whose name I forgot :D

Moto3 was a Spanish clean sweep. Is this some sort of record?

They're brilliant, and BT would be foolish to not get them both on board.

One of my all time favourites was Estoril 2006, with Mamola explaining Elias' rear-braking technique saying "and he's doing all this using his right foot" before I think it was Toby Moody interjecting "well, he sure as hell isn't using his brain!". That was also one of the best MotoGP races, you couldn't have written it.
