No more Stoner, but Marquez has two titles in lower classes under his belt. I think he can well win some races, but won't challenge for the title yet. Rossi's Ducati adventure didn't go well and now he's back with Yamaha. Lorenzo is still the big favourite.

Calendar:

Didnt realise they were going to COTA so early in the season. Also two American rounds back to back but a month apart seems like an odd bit of scheduling.

I'm predicting Pedrosa to finally win the championship this year. Honda seem to have the best bike, it'll just be a case of who can make the fewest mistakes between him and Lorenzo as to who wins the title

Nice overview all in caps and without any tabs  :p

The media gives less coverage and attention every year since Rossi broke his leg :x . Download some 90's races and enjoy real racing like Mick Doohan is run at the 1998 Dutch TT Qualifying :beard:

By the end of the year, I believe our broadcaster won't even bother showing MotoGP. Just 2 and 3.

Yeah sadly you need national drivers/influence yo get motorsport on your tv. RTLGP bought the rights for F1 when we had 2 Dutch drivers in F1 (Albers/Doornbos) and a "Dutch" F1 team (Spyker). And now it's behind the decoder. Just as Motogp.

I can't complain since I bought a abbo for those channels. But still, I think back of the times when Eurosport had the rights for all the series...

Anyway hope for a good season for Rossi, and Ducati in it's whole . And hope Redding can shine in Moto2.

RTL had the rights since 92. Eurosport not showing MotoGP has nothing to do with Eurosport but is all Dornas fault.

You forgot they where outbid by SBS for 2004 till 2006 (who also bought the rights with the popularity of Jos still going.

But yeah, fuck Dorna.

Metzo you can't and shouldn't disagree with TBK-Light's resident expert here, who fails to notice that the calendar has been almost exactly like this for many decades...

Great to see Rossi right on Lorenzo's ass in FP1, though it is only practice. Hopeful he has not lost the spark though.

Moto3 has all-Spanish front row with Salom, M.Vinales and Rins. Techer had lots of improvement from last year and he was sixth. Carrasco was 23rd, she was definately not among the worst.

Pol Espargaro took the pole for Moto2, Nakagami and Kallio join him in the front row. (Pons) Kalexes and Suters fill the first three rows, well they have majority of the grid but still.

Among the biggest guys, Lorenzo is the polesitter with Crutchlow a great second. Pedrosa will also be on the front row. Marquez 6th, Rossi 7th, so the Doctor didn't have as good qualifying as practice suggested. Espargaro was the fastest of the CRTs, only just under 0,4 seconds from Hayden. He beat Spies in Q1 so not a bad effort.

Impressive stuff from Crutchlow, who I keep pronouncing as Clutchrow.

Looking forward to it, great to see Clutchrow (now I'm saying it) at the front.

Surely with their weight, Pedrosa and Marquez will be 1-2 at Turn 1?
