Man this race plus wet conditions, big balls are needed.

As I said in the crash video section, there was a big crash at the end of the supersport race between Alastair Seeley & Lee Johnston.

Weather is horrible for racing on a 'track' like that.

Any news on the riders condition?

Commentators said they both walked away from the crash, but I haven't seen any image so I can't confirm.

EDIT: Seeley is generally ok, but has withdrawn from the Superbike race.

There must have been a big crash. Red flag, bike on fire, no footage unfortunately.

Simon Andrews is the rider who went down.

He's a BSB regular, hope he's ok.

He might have gotten lucky, it looks like he launched off of the part of the curb that sort of "steps down" rather then go head first into the cub itself.

....god that made my gut wrench.

Looked like he was already knocked out, anyone know what happened before he slid into the curbing?

Thoughts and sympathies to all his friends and family.

One of my favourite British riders. In my opinion, he was up there with the best BSB talents racing in WSBK and MotoGP nowadays.
Just very, very unlucky. An endless string of injuries marred his career, which sadly came to an end.

Rest in peace Simon.
