Great time schedule for WSBK from now on, with everything compressed in the morning and SBK race 2 at lunchtime... :yuk: . Great job again Dorna.

: I still can't understand your surprise about Van Der Mark, as he is clearly one the most talented riders in the field (if not THE most talented) and races for a top team. :)

Was an awesome day @ Assen, First SBK race was good but the Supersport race was superb with van der Mark winning his first ever WSS race in front of his home crowd! Goosebumps all over :) and so good to hear the Dutch anthem for a real WC race! After that the rain delayed everything a lot and after many waiting and getting wet from top till toe we witnessed many crashes and another good race over 10 laps wich was again won by a dutch Ten Kate team rider Jonathan Rea. And even the Superstock 1000 race was won by a Dutch rider, Kevin Valk riding a Ten Kate Racing Parts bike.

Only 2 months untill the Dutch TT here, can't wait as today was just the start of some fun motorsport days this year :)

Lorenzo Zanetti wins at Imola wearing an Ayrton Senna replica helmet. Very fitting tribute.

Zanetti even stopped near the Senna Memorial Statue, indeed a very fitting tribute. Very good performance by Dutch team Ten Kate Honda, with both WSBK wins and a 1-2 in de WSS race, and Rea and vd Mark both leading the championship! :flag:

Luca Scassa was seriously injured last week while testing a MotoGP Ioda bike at Mugello.

He suffered multiple fractures and he'll probably be out for the rest of the season.

Nasty crash of Barrier, he is unconscious. Hit the concrete barrier after an highside. Red flag now.

Broken ankle for Barrier. Seeing him motionless on the main straight was quite frightening.

Dorna's influence on SBK becomes even more apparent: this season will end with a gimmick night race in Qatar.
