Thnx for the quick upload Mattzel! After watching it it looks to me that Andrews has hit Ianuzzo on the straight, and that Ianuzzo has hurt his arm in that collision and Andrews his front brakes were locked and that caused him to crash...

:o our British commentators said that Andrews was bruised, but nothing broken. Might have been wrong I guess...

Incidentally, our commentator (Jack Burnicle) went into too much detail yesterday when talking about one of our riders (might be Byrne) whose bike shut off half way down the straight, causing him to smash forward into the tank and whack one of his nuts up into his groin which then, in Burnicle's words, 'had to be eased back out again'.

Yeah, thanks for that Jack :yuk:

Haga wins by 0.025 seconds (despite crossing the line in 3rd)

Simon Andrews has a broken left heel, Iannuzzo is fine but for bruises.

There was an incident at Brands Hatch in 2002 which was very similar but without the outcome of an accident. Coming out of Clearways on the final lap, Nori Haga was tucked right into the slipstream of Ruben Xaus when Xaus missed a gear. Haga had no time to react and slammed the back of Xaus, causing him to hit himself so hard on the tank that he threw up in his helmet. Somehow he still managed to stay on the bike and cross the line to take second place, followed swiftly by pulling over against the barrier and assuming the foetal position at trackside.

The incident mentioned above:

Watch at 1:50 as Suzi Perry tries to politely explain what happened to Haga, and Fogarty just ruins it.

I don't quite understand the discription when I see the video below it. It's Xaus hitting Haga.
Or did the 'punch' of Xaus cause Haga to hit his balls on the seat/tank?

My description had it the wrong way round, I didn't check the tape first. Yeah, the force of Xaus hitting the back of the Aprilia caused Haga to hit the tank.

One of the best races in recent years, a real classic. At the end, I felt physically tired from the adrenaline it gave me.

It was even better than best! I've enjoyed a very sunny race day at the track, with 3 very good races with a lot of close racing at the front... :flag:

I will post some pictures on this board when I have uploaded them.

I went to Assen today. From 9 am till 6pm.
Watched all the action from different locations at the track. It was a fantastic day! The facilities are great, the racing was totally awesome and a great day for Ten Kate obviously (in WSBK).
Even my g/f liked it :P

That Camier crash just looked spectacular due to what happened to bike. Doesn't look very serious for the rider.
