Thomas Lüthi has been injured today in a test session after a collision with another rider. He's got broken bones on the left side, possibly elbow, arm and shoulder. :(

MotoGP will use the old pit complex at Silverstone, so all three series can be in one paddock.

That's exactly the reason why the BTCC still runs on the national circuit. The new paddock just isn't big enough.

I'm fully aware FP2 doent mean much but great to see Marquez on top already this year :)))

Not a big fan of the Repsol team. but he is pretty impressive indeed.

Rossi looks good, just no Lorenzo pace yet.

So BT Sports get exclusive MotoGP in 2014, bit gutted already have to pay out for F1 to watch everything live now the same for MotoGP and not that cheap @ £15GBP a month for the HD service, which is the only way to go.

Hoping they will snap up some good people for the coverage from Eurosport ect, cant be done with all new people.

Ben Spies will (again) miss the next race and this time be replaced by Alex de Angelis. Ben should really just give up now. I get the feeling he is fighting a losing battle to return to MotoGP.

Yeah I thought that, its a shame but 2012 was awful for Ben, not all his fault but was still awful, and this year hmm well we've hardly seen him on track but I think the love for GP's has gone, and on the heap of a Ducati he's probably better off at home in the AMA or back to WSBK

2012 was bad but some of it was self-induced (and yes, some not). 2010 and 2011 had been so good for Ben (not forgetting 2009 in WSBK) that the hype had got to him. 2012 brought him back down with a such a bump that he's probably never going to recover and be properly competitive again in MotoGP. AMA or WSBK may be options, but will anyone want or even remember him enough to take a risk on giving him a competitive ride?

I can see him ending up with a good WSBK ride if it comes to that, just like Melandri who didn't have much success during his last three Moto GP seasons (not even a single podium finish IIRC).

That's true. But I'm thinking Spies could end up more like Toseland. Which is a shame as I rate Toseland far higher than I ever will with Spies.

how far off a works honda is it? cant be that far behind especially now he uses same brakes as the repsol guys which seems to have made a difference, id be surprised if there was much more than 1/10th over an average lap

Scott Redding has been signed by Gresini on a two-year deal, he'll be riding a prototype not a CRT.
