Silverstone might host a MotoGP race in 2010 when F1 will leave them.

Rossi To Ride At Qatar - In World Superbikes?

Now, according to the British motorcycle racing website bikesportnews.com, it looks like he could get his chance. BSN's Edgar Jessop has revealed that Valentino Rossi hopes to line up at the second race of the World Superbike season at Qatar in March.

I've never seen bike racing in Silverstone. What kind of races i should expect?

Autosport say changes will have to be made, but no details yet. WSBK used the International circuit recently and also the chicane at Woodcote. They've also used the old Abbey curve in the past as well

Hanger straight would be epic but guess it'd probably be the international track. would he tarmac runoffs need to go for motoGP?

The chicaned version is the International Motorbike Circuit.

Kawasaki is still testing their 2009 bike, so that could be hopefull news for a eventual new buyer

As we all know, Eurosport won't broadcast MotoGP anymore next year. Over here apparently the pay-TV channel SportTV picked it up. Their lineup of motorsport series is getting scary.

F1, MotoGP, NASCAR, DTM, A1GP, FIA GT, Le Mans Series, GP2, F3 Euroseries, etc etc etc.

By living in Portugal and paying 23 euros per month just for the pack of 3 SportTV channels alone. Plus another 5 euros if you want the HD channel.

Our problem here is that we either pay a lot for top quality stuff, or are left with nothing. It is brilliant for someone who can afford it and follows football and motorsport like me.

But anyway some news about Kawasaki. Ilmor is probably going to keep Kawasaki in Motogp as they will support them technically and so the normal team can stay together under Kawasaki banner. Don't know how it will be arranged financially becuase Ilmor left after a phew races because of a lack of money in 2006 and Monster energy is going to sponsor Rossi and is rumoured to sponsor Yamaha's superbike team.

I pay 20 euro a month to receive Eurosport, Eurosport2, MotorsTV etcetera. Well worth the money, as I have spent hundreds of hours watching races last year. Then it's quite cheap.

Maybe. You have to consider too that salaries are lower over here and so are the prices of everything. 20 euros for us is probably like 40 or 50 euros over there.

Dad also pays 14 euro a month for analogue tv and the connection, so about 35-40 euro total a month.
That is without telephone, just the tv subscription
