This weekends race at Phillip Island might be in big trouble, predicting rain and strong winds for Sunday. Riders have even discussed the idea of running the race on Saturday.

Race in Saturday confirmed, sprint may still happen on Sunday, weather permitting.

Yes they are. A couple of years ago MotoGP introduced a mandatory pit stop (and bike swap), also at Phillip Island.
Qatar reminded me of that.

for bikes they must take very sensible decisions given the scope for dangerous situations is way much higher

while in F1 they still see some things as "part of the sport"

I'm standing at turn 1, and in my 10 years coming have never seen a crowd so quiet. The wings have made one of the most exciting events of the year a complete procession, they need to fuck right off.

What a thrill, lack of tire management could had costed Martin a championship

What a finish. Happy for Zarco! I remember when he used to have impressive runs for Tech 3, but the wins never came. Mixed feelings for the team probably but surely had Zarco not passed him, someone else would've.

3 riders have fallen down on the sighting lap for the Moto3 race.

Edit: 4, one of them busted his eyebrow.

More riders dropping like flies in Moto2. Acosta is 11th after six laps already.

Polish commentators say Dunlop Moto2 tires are too hard for wet conditions.

They didn't even wait to 2/3 distance so half-points? No way this gets restarted ahead of MotoGP.
