Both races have been kinda lackluster today. Not sure if I should switch to F1 when it starts or catch Moto2 first.

That was a Marquez stinkfest if I've ever seen one

You haven't seen many Sachsenring races then?

Rossi finishes 12 secs behind an Aprilia. Sigh... However this is the second season in a row where A.Espargaro will probably score his best result at Aragon.

This one was far beyond that one. Could have won by more.

Massive highside for Marquez in P1. He seems to be fine.

What a race, that was just fantastic.
You will got it soon, Fabio!
Well done, Marc.

6 titles in 7 years of MotoGP on the highest level. Yes, that is dominance 2.0 of which Schumacher and Rossi can only dream of. I'm a Rossi fan so not a Marquez fan, but I admire him.

And yet, each season is interesting.

what I find more amusing is that his team mates have basically the same equipment and aren't able to do 10% of what he's doing

Every rider has his own driving style, most teams try to find a balance that suits both drivers, but Honda go 100% Marquez. That's a secret that everyone in the paddock knows.

Indeed. Sometimes I think Repsol-Honda would be even better off as a single-bike team as long as they have Marquez.

Even if Honda makes a bike tailor-made for Marquez, we don't hear about Yamaha having the mid-corner speed superiority like it was the case in Lorenzo days (maybe only his riding style made that possible), likewise we don't hear about Honda struggling on the exit of the corners anymore either. Crutchlow has complained about so many things I've lost track what is his problem anymore.

Honda has definitely worked on the top end speed to cover Ducati's biggest advantage. Even in Moto3 I've heard that KTM no longer has that edge and now Honda bikes are faster on the straights while they used to dominate mid-corners before.

Marquez is capable of finishing on the podium at every single track while Ducati still struggles on twisty circuits. Yamaha utterly dominated the Misano weekend except for Marquez who still won the race anyway. Thailand has two extremely long straights yet Ducati was nowhere, there are only like 3-4 really slow corners there so it's a miracle that whatever braking advantage Marquez has, he was able to leave the Ducatis behind like that. I think it also comes down to talent, Dovizioso isn't probably Top 5 in that category, I'd take Marquez, Vinales, P.Espargaro, Quartararo & Miller over him tbh.

like Hamilton, he's the right man in the right place, spilling talent through his pores while using all he can of his machinery

I think Marquez would win on any bike, he's that good. The way he cocks the rear end out under brakes is like nobody else. Whether he could do that without electronics is up for debate. He probably could adapt his style to cope with such changes.

Zarco to replace Nakagami for the last three rounds this year. Motegi will be Nakagami's last race. :whistling:

Quartararo again second.
Rossi again nowhere. I'll always be a Rossi fan, but it really looks like it is time to go. Or at least leave Yamaha, because the young guys seem to be able to find something on that bike that Rossi can't anymore.
