No update and no images of the rescue operations yet. TV commentators and other riders don't seem to be excessively worried, and race will restart. So let's hope everything will be ok. EDIT: I heard Jack Burnicle saying he's conscious, but I'm not sure since I heard it from another room. |

He's had no luck this year, hope he's alright. |

The race got red flagged a seond time after Marko Jerman and Alex Lundh took each other out. Good news is that Sam Lowes is conscious and is only complaining of a pain in his shoulder. |

It was restarted again, for a 16 lap race which was won by Chas Davies from Fabien Foret and Broc Parkes. |

Sam Lowes apparently has a broken collarbone, but he's otherwise OK. He should recover fairly quickly. |

No idea where to put this but was just a pretty big pile up at start of the 125cc support race at BSBK at Brands |

damn, hope it's not bad. watching the first races of season a cpl days ago, i thought to myself 'that starting grid itself sounds dangerous'. such powerful machines the sound is deafening. so much power, so packed together! |

Holy crap, that is an immense, immense amount of drugs. 100kg of cannabis would fill half the bloody thing! |

http://www.motorcyclenews.com/MCN/News/newsresults/General-news/2011/April/may0311-kawasaki-world-superbike-team-boss-denies-drug-smuggling/ Only update I found. Sure it's a pretty big amount to be "hidden" in a lorry without the team noticing. |

Well once the lorry was on the road it could have stopped anywhere to pick up the drugs, then unload them without the team ever knowing. |

There's been a HUGE crash during Superstock 1000. Barrier's engine broke at the Curva Grande and several riders went down very hard on the oil. Some riders are shown to be ok, but I've seen doctors working on the crash site and Leandro Mercado is reported to be at the medical center. |

From WSBK official site: Quote: A blown engine in the first race start, from Sylvain Barrier BMW Motorrad Italia Superstock) machine, saw several riders crash at high speed on the spilled oil, with none seriously injured.
