With there seemingly being rain at some point each weekend, I wonder when NASCAR will just give up and implement mandatory competition cautions for every race regardless of weather. |

The first cup practice has been odd so far. A lot of teams have been making short runs but very few of them are mock-qualifying runs. Matt DiBenedetto has been in the top 20 the entire session ahead of the likes of Brad Keselowski, Kyle Larson, Chase Elliott and Tony Stewart. |
