Taking commentators out of it I do think fox take about 4x more cameras to the track than the other broadcasters
You definitely got more missed/half missed wrecks/passses in the second half of the season.

You definitely wouldn't have had stuff like missing Biffle tearing an engine out his car with Fox

This was the first NASCAR race I watched this year(I don't watch on ovals) and I enjoyed it very much. Very nices battles and overtakes there in a track which is hard to put on good races in other series.

I wish NASCAR would add two more road courses to the calendar. Ovals would still be the vast majority, and I know oval is the core of NASCAR, but with Road America also ran by Sprint Cup and a race on COTA would be fantastic too. They can't say the viewership is bad for road courses:
NASCAR SPRINT CUP RACIN L FS1 SONOMA 3:00 PM 6:30 PM 3.7m
NASCAR SPRINT CUP RACIN L FS1 KANSAS RAIN GAPPED 7:25 PM 1:09 AM 2.4m
NASCAR SPRINT CUP RACIN L FS1 DOVER 1:00 PM 4:42 PM 3.9m
NASCAR SPRINT CUP RACIN L FS1 POCONO 1:00 PM 4:23 PM 3.6m
NASCAR SPRINT CUP RACIN L FS1 STP500 Sun 12:57P-05:11P 4m
NASCAR SPRINT CUP RACIN L FS1 MICHIGAN RAIN GAPPED 12:50 PM 5:41 PM 3.5

Daytona 500 aside, the rating is on par with the ovals

Unfortunately, I'm pretty sure we won't get more than two anytime soon

they just showed the K&N West race from Sonoma on NBCSN btw, they should have the Whelen Modified Tour race from Riverhead on tomorrow as well.

As far as road courses NASCAR should add, I think Road America and a Canadian road course (Mosport, Montreal, Mont-Tremblant, maybe ICAR etc.) would all work out pretty well in Cup. CoTA won't happen as I doubt NASCAR would want to lose Texas (and possibly other SMI tracks) if Gossage is persistent on his recent statements.

Isn't Texas lost already?

Anyway, they MUST have Montreal, that track has so much potential.

4 road courses a season will suffice for me :)

Sonoma, Glen, Montreal and Road America

Yeah, I missed it. Hope they show a replay. NBC website had it listed as being on today from 6-7, and the modified race from 7-8. :x

I could definitely be on board with 4 a year. It makes sense to do it now. I agree with Sonoma, Watkins Glen, Road America and Montreal

I'm totally for the idea of having four road courses a year. Sonoma, Watkins Glen, Mosport, and Montreal.
