Bob Varsha posted something interesting on Twitter this afternoon. There was almost another F-1/NASCAR driver swap. In another Tweet he said that this was around 1990 but it was cancelled because of a sponsor conflict involving motor oil companies.

The thought of Earnhardt driving an F-1 car is interesting, to say the least.

I like the idea of Nige in a stock car. Maybe they could have swapped moustaches instead?

Another ARCA short track race from the mid 90s with a wild finish:

1997 ARCA race at Michigan. It's a shame ESPN didn't catch an angle of the pileup, Dave Blaney absolutely destroys his car:

Classic NASCAR drinking game (works best for 1980's and earlier):

Ken Squier mentions someone's hometown - 1 sip
A crew member wearing cowboy boots - 2 sips
Interview with someone wearing a cowboy hat - 3 sips
Confederate flag in view - empty your glas

Help me out with this, contribute with your list please
