Thank you so much for linking this video, leads to a treasure trove of Southside videos from 95/96. I was only 12/13 years old then, but I still distinctly remember Bugs and Bubba and the Grubbs, and Bullet's Burgers.

I'm guilty of not really attending races anymore but I still live in the Midlo area.

that channel has been posting alot of awesome gems caught by Don Bartlett in recent months, especially from Oswego & the old Mile.

Speaking of which, here's footage of the USAC Stock Car race at the Mile in 1970. McCluskey & Kohler were critically injured - but both came back to race another day

You don't actually see the wreck happening but it must have been very nasty judging by the damage (this is Kohler's car):

Having a few drinks tonight, I looked for a ridiculous race to enjoy. I think I found one, the 2005 Busch race at Talladega. Lots of carnage.

With Phoenix this coming weekend, here's the 1996 race which was chock full of storylines. The biggest being point leader Terry Labonte driving hurt after getting injured in a Friday morning practice crash.
