After a particularly bad race at Bristol, the tour heads back west for its only (thankfully) visit to Auto Club Speedway.

Now with 100 fewer miles of painfully boring racing!

Cup: Auto Club 400 - Sunday @ 3:30pm ET on FOX (43 entries)
Nationwide: Royal Purple 300 - Saturday @ 5:30pm ET on ESPN (45 entries)

So was that last Fontana race a fluke or will this be the same?

Looking forward to this one, if only in expectation of a repeat of last year.

Yeah, I know he's mad and I don't care. I do not care. I did not care then. I do not care now. I'm here to race him.

you mean that race that had some good racing directly after the restarts for 3 laps and then sucked like all the other intermediate races? don't see why not, nothing changed.

Reading back through the thread, it doesn't give the impression that the racing was good only after the restarts.

Still, even if that is the case, it's an improvement on what it was before, and certainly an improvement on Bristol.

Saturday will be awesome!

Legendary NASCAR owner Rick Ware has entered four cars for the Nationwide race with rookie phenom Timmy Hill, female driving sensation Jennifer Jo Cobb, veteran pilot Donnie Neuenberger and long time fan favorite Carl Long at the wheel.

A track so shitty, even it doesn't want to have a race there.

so in nationwide practice mark martin and earl are the only drivers to turn laps over 172mph. Earl is the only driver to go 173. Yea time to set the DVR this race is going to make history and be remembered for years to come.
