10 out of 10. Best Daytona 500 I have seen so far.

Excellent coverage, love the 2 cars draft, a new winner, fanstastic finish, all the top drivers got taken out, and good crashes. :p What a race, I love it from start to finish

The end of that race contained everything I love about motorsport. For that reason, 10/10.

I'll rate it a 10 too. It may not have been the most perfect race - as I wanted Mark Martin to win a lot, even over Bayne, but in the end I loved the winner. I had shakes for the last fifteen laps, witnessed a ton of unexpected moments, the race finished in the daytime and I had no clue who was going to win until the they were nearly into the tri-oval.

It was a great Daytona 500, one of the best in recent memory.

Many cars competitive and able to pull out the win, intense racing for the lead, all day. Intense racing throughout the entire pack, all day. Great coverage, incredible saves, and quite possibly already the upset of the year.

This race, was great. 10/10

10/10. Clearly one of best Daytona 500 I watched, and of course... Trevor Bayne, youngest winner in Daytona 500 since Jeff Gordon in 1997.

I'll give it a 5, and I'm only that generous because of the sheer awesomeness of the Wood Brothers winning. The two car draft shit is just impossible to watch. The first 180 laps were pretty awful. Not as bad as the Nationwide race, but still not good.

It was different, but it wasn't nearly as bad as it was shaping up to be from the Duels and Nationwide races. The racing itself wasn't bad, and the middle bits where folks were riding was close to how these races usually shape up. I don't know if it's a 10, but I'd say at least a 7.

The TV broadcast itself would probably only be a 5, at best.

As stated in the race thread, this surprised me as it didn't end up being a mind-numbing bore-fest as everyone predicted, myself included.

Plus, having such an amazing tast winner helps. 10/10 for me.

Solid 8. The first part of the race sucked, but it got better as time went by.

9, thought the race was good as a whole, the racing was pretty good regardless of the 2 car draft, it always seemed like there was always at least an 8 car pack, which is what it usually is at daytona anyway. i give it a 9 instead of a 10 because that big wreck happened way too early, and there were way, way, way too many cautions.

Despite being pair racing, the cars stayed quite bunched up. They never spread out as much as the duels. So the racing was quite good, and the winner was a great result. But there were far too many cautions. 8/10.

I gave it an 8. I'm interested by the 2 car partnering style, though I'm not sure I like it more than the usual RP pack racing.

It's funny, this style of racing is kind of what fans and drivers have been asking for for years in terms of better throttle response and ability to pass, it's just maybe too much in that direction. It resulted in shitty racing in the truck and NNS races, I guess we were just lucky it didn't end up so single-file in the Cup race.

It'll be interesting to see what Talladega's like, as there's no real reason the racing changed so much other than the new Daytona surface.

honestly i think if it was regular "pack racing" it would have been exactly like the truck race, which SUCKED, so maybe the 2 car push was a blessing in disguise.

I gave it an 8. It had some great racing at moments, amazing winner, a few decent crashes, but I just can't get over the 2-car draft. I was expecting a lot less, though.

3, and just because Bayne won. This two car draft is just annoying. The last 40 laps were the only watchable part of the weekend, really, aside from the last bit of the truck race. Maybe i'm being harsh, it wasn't the worst 500 i've seen, but it was very far from the best.

I think we got lucky. The higher temps kept them a bit closer than normal. If it had been as cool as earlier in the week then it'd have been really poor. But that's ifs and buts, and the race was still good.

I didn't see all of it. I gave it an 9 from what I saw, with Trevor Bayne winning, Gilland and Labonte 3rd and 4th was epic. And so were the last laps. I was really tense actually. The only thing that annoyed me really was the boring strech in the middle.

Hated the beginning: it was maybe the worst 500 I had ever watched, but at the end totally changed and became a beautiful motorsport race. The end went really beyond everything I could have ever imagined.
