The whole race was fantastic. I did not mind at all the new style of racing. 10.

Didn't like the new style of racing. Just to few cars near the front in such a big plate race.

Gave it a 6 for the outcome which was quite spectacular (Bayne!!! and R.Gordon save!!)

It was a good race. Drivers were not riding at any point, evident from the many spins. And you always had some thing going on worth watching. Then to have it topped off by a WB21 win by a guy I've been a fan of since his USAR Pro Cup days, gives it automatic HoF status.

Some good close racing at the front, a feel good victory, i give the race an 8.5/10

It was let down by all the yellows, and another of those artificial green/white/chequers...

To be fair, I thought it was going to suck bigtime after the Big One, but surprisingly it didnt. Thanks to all the cautions the cars stayed together. Great winner to

8/10

Gave it a 7. Finally had an eventful race, not 150 laps of riding around and 50 laps of crashing, a new winner and some good runs for other guys who haven't been near the front that much. Any time Johnson can't win is a plus as well.

This was one of the few Daytona 500 -races I have even watched. It was quite odd to see cars pairing like that, "like two cars were one". Did this occur last year also? The race had way too many cautions for my taste. The end was thrilling though, I gave it an 8.

I gave the race a 9 because of all the lead changes and all the different names that were up front. And a shock winner in Trevor Bayne.

I would have given the race a 10 if it wasn't for all those cautions and the lack of pack racing.

6 for the 21 and some other good things. Never thought I would hate the way Nascar races at Daytona.

9, thought the race was good as a whole, the racing was pretty good regardless of the 2 car draft, it always seemed like there was always at least an 8 car pack, which is what it usually is at daytona anyway. i give it a 9 instead of a 10 because that big wreck happened way too early, and there were way, way, way too many cautions.

I mostly agree with this, although there were parts were the 2 car draft was just too boring and therefore I gave it an 8.

7. Way too many cautions. Some cars were randomly wrecked by being pushed in the corners and it seemed harsh to lose some good cars that way. Still not a huge fan of the 2 car drafting. Lots of good racing in between though, and a fantastic, surprising finish.

I gave it an 8, some boring parts in the middle but picked up in near the end, plus too many cautions.

As for the two car drafts, I think they are far better than the terrible plate racing we saw six or seven years ago when they mostly ran single file and nobody could really make any passes. In some ways it kind of resembles the Daytona of old with two drivers drafting one another and being able to easily make a sling shot pass. However, the team dynamic that formed between drivers on track seemed really weird to me and wasn't something I particularly liked. The pack racing we used to see was intense and exciting but it became boring for me when drivers started to realize they didn't need to race until the very end and would ride for like 450 miles until it was "go time."
