How do people still think this is a valid statistic? Don't get me wrong, I wish it were true, especially as a Harvick fan with the season he just had. But teams and drivers race and compete in direct relation to the rules and regulations set in place. Thus, they all would have raced differently if the rules were different.

The length of time we just went in the post race show without a commercial break was longer than we went during the race without a commercial break.

because when NASCAR is on ESPN, it isn't about the racing. it's about THE DRAMA and THE STORYLINE and FLASHY SHIT like if it was fucking WWE or some shit. ESPN and NASCAR are perfect for each other because they're both fucking unbearable to watch and listen to and at this rate both of them wont exist by 2020.
