wow. earl's first win in 2 years. you'd think he'd be happy and stuff, but no, he has to be an UBER sellout in his interview. fuck that guy. wouldn't have a job if he didn't suck the sponsor's dicks like that.

I didn't watch a single lap of racing this weekend, and I can't say I'm disappointed. I'm not even excited about the finale next week either. ILU Nascar :flag:

That engine must be slurping a lot of fuel. They where the last to pit and where even according to Brian Patty (his CC) good till end.

It's good to see Carl Edwards can get the equivalent of garbage time TDs, once he's out of contention for the Cup or NNS titles.

Agreed, Chris.

I'm hoping for something on par with 2004, except I'm hoping the right guy ends up winning. I'm kinda hoping Harvick, but if he can't do it, I'd much rather see Jimmie win title number five than see Hamlin make an arse out of himself again.

the right guy did end up winning in 04. Kurt and his team were solid. Even came back from the wheel falling off in Homestead. Hamlin deserves this. Him or Harvick. One has the most wins, the other is most consistent. It's actually Johnson that's the Chase lucky guy this year.

I went to Homested for the championship weekend from 2005-2008. Finally stopped when Jimmie kept winning and taking all the excitement out of the Sunday race. Last year I was fine with missing it. This year, DAMNIT I wish I was still going. This is going to be a great fight to the finish.

And congrats to Edwards for snapping the 2 year winless streak!

Well, let's hope Hamlin and Harvick send JJ to the wall.

Do we really feel comfortable with Earl having a giant hammer?

They're not showing NASCAR any more, apparently.

I didn't meet Jimmie (got there too late, how sad), but I accepted his sponsor's free food and water.

I didn't realize Kenseth missed lugs on his pitstop when he topped off and got right sides, so he had to start behind all the lappers etc. My brother and I thought for sure he had it in the bag, with all the other guys needing to pit, but we were wrong.

There were some Montoya fans near me, they were funny, every time Montoya would go by the front straight, they'd do like this mini-wave (3 of them), every lap, haha. They were super pumped at the end, until he ran out of fuel.

I'm not a hardcore enough NASCAR fan, I honestly think I enjoy watching on TV more than at the track.. unless I can get some VIP action, maybe it'd interest me more.

It looks like RFR have things figured out finally. Hopefully they can carry momentum into next year

That's abit sudden. It was listed on the TV guide about 4 hours before the race. Boo. :(
