Race 6 in the Chase. Jimmie Johnson continues to lead the standings as... You know what, fuck it, I'm rooting for the meteor.

Also, the final race ever at Gateway for the Nationwide Series.

Entry lists below

Sprint Cup: Tums Fast Relief 500 (Sunday @ 1pm ET on ESPN)
Nationwide: 5-Hour Energy 250 (Saturday @ 3pm ET on ESPN2)
Trucks: Kroger 200 (Saturday @ 12:30pm ET on SPEED)

I'm going to be at the Nationwide Series race. This is going to be the first Nascar race I've attended since the 1993 Winston 500 at Talladega. It was the race where Rusty Wallace flipped across the finish line in 6th place.

I am way too excited for this. Seeing them derp it up in person back in ARCA at Kentucky is still one of the greatest things ever.

I lost count of how many times they spun out in Turn 4 by me at Kentucky during that ARCA race.

Maybe we should start a spin count for the Cope twins. I think it could easily hit double digits.

Looking forward to one of the few unique tracks left that NASCAR hasn't fucked up yet. Even though Jawnson or Hamlin will win it.

Never all that excited about Martinsville. But if they can manage a finish half as good as this Spring, I'll gladly be wrong about my expectations.

Went to the fall race in 2003, can't say it was anything special. But it's a change from all the 1.5 mile bs...

Nah, I think they'll spin more times in this race alone than JWT did in his entire career.

Spamlin will win and everyone will be excited until they realize Yawnson finished 2nd....

Spamlin was a lot better when Spamlin was still fat. Hell, Hammin' would've worked too...

From Jayski: [truck series]
Quote:
one driver change; C.E. Falk replacing D.J. Kennington in the #47 Kids Embrace Chevrolet for RWR.(10-22-2010)

CE Falk is the 2009 and 2010 Langley Speedway track champion in Late Models and finished 5th in the nation for the Whelen All American points. Martinsville hasn't really been a good track for him in Late Models and considering how little practice he's gotten in a truck it's likely a recipe for a poor run but I'm hoping he'll use his head and just try to bring the truck home.
