Pretty much. I found much better things to do (NFL football and NHL hockey, for starters).

I think the Chase might also have a thing or two to do with it. Plus, the action on the track's not as good, ticket prices are ridiculous for an economy that's tanked, traffic sucks at a lot of races, and the like. Rather than watch NASCAR, I'll gladly watch football, or UFC fighting (which I would have kept watching had those asshats on ESPN not spoiled the result on their front page), or the IndyCars, if they were still running.

Chase is a horrible idea to begin with, quality of racing is bland, and everything that's bad and wrong with NASCAR. Current TV coverage doesn't help one bit.

Jamie won, mentioned Shane Hmiel in victory lane.

This is when Indycar really needs to be making it's move.

Indycar seems to be content sitting around and eating their own scat, like an animal at the zoo.

I remember when races at Charlotte used to be some of the most exciting of the year. I wonder if Junior and Martin are doing R&D for Johnson and Gordon because their results seem very inconsistent. I wouldn't think Hendrick would be happy with Jr running 30th otherwise.

I didn't realize so many people were pissed off at Kasey Kahne for not getting back in the car on Saturday night.

On the one hand, I can kinda see it. On the other, George Gillette is a piece of shit for an owner and has nothing but bad stuff sports-related coming to him.
