He needs the helmet to match, or else that car doesn't mean shit.

Bonus points if he throws said helmet after being wrecked.

Dan Belcher and myself will be at Toledo w/ credentials this weekend for the ARCA race.

If you haven't already, check out Dan's photos on Facebook from Du Quoin. He has a nice shot of a spinning car that was probably no more than 25 feet away from where we were standing. the only thing between us and the car was a jersey barrier and a light pole. Fortunately the car stayed on the track and didn't come into the pits.

I read on Jayski that Jon West Townley has fallen ill and Landon Cassill will be filling in for him in tonight's Nationwide Series Race.

Look at those times, a second slower than the old car. Think it's time to take off the tapered spacers that were put in to make sure the old aero cars didn't go faster than Cup COTs.

At least Landon Cassill is an upgrade. Anyone can wheel a car better than JWT.

They've got the car numbers of all the drivers in chase contenders painted on the backstretch wall. I hope there's going to be a painter updating it live during the race.

Looking forward to it. Been super busy this week and haven't had a chance to post here. You can check out all my Du Quoin pictures either at this link on ARCA Nation http://arcanation.com/photo_albums/3967/photos or in the following three FB galleries.
http://www.facebook.com/album.php?aid=2 ... 332&ref=mf
http://www.facebook.com/album.php?aid=2 ... 332&ref=mf
http://www.facebook.com/album.php?aid=2 ... 332&ref=mf
The second Facebook gallery includes a big Modified pileup with a flip. Will post Toledo pics next week. Sorry to be brief but my iPhone and this text box aren't getting along very well...

Why does it look like the cars are literally crawling around the track? I bet the pace car could be competitive in this race. :yuk:

Yeah, the spacer doesn't work at all. Time to take it off and give the cars more power.
