What a finish this was, I was screaming to the TV when they were approaching the s/f line.

I like watching cars get destroyed just as much as the next guy, but there is a fine line between controlled chaos and a retard-filled slugfest. Montreal has run it's course. It was a challenged but fun four years, and it's time to move on.

Montreal is a fucking terrible track for hosting Nascar races, I've totally had my fill of it. If they never went back there again, I wouldn't shed a tear.

Yes please Nascar. Replace Montreal with California Speedway, pleeeeease.

BTW this is exactly what I said.

Just saw the finish on my DVR. (Had to leave after just 20 laps of the race) Unreal. What a great finish. Too bad RE: the rest of the racethat the NASCAR drivers can't seem to learn how to not beat the shit out of each other and wreck constantly thanks to overdriving the car on every pass attempt on a road course.

We have a lot of interesting lists on this forum, but after seeing Boris come back from getting looped by JV, I think we (some enterprising member other than myself) should make a Spin & Win list.

I just saw the youtube video of that finish. That was a very entertaining finish. I'm glad to see Boris Said get his first Nationwide Series win as a driver and Robby Benton Racing getting their first win as a team as well.

AWESOME finish for an otherwise mickey mouse clusterfuck amatuer hour of a race.

Did you guys see Robby standing on the damn track when the leaders came by on the last lap? LOL

Just started one. The list may be small now but I hope more entries will be added down the road: viewtopic.php?f=36&t=6024

yeah, exactly. a few wrecks here and there are fine, but the amount of cautions and caution laps caused by the retarded driving in that race was awful. i mean, nobody could even fucking negotiate the first two corners after a restart correctly, not even the "road course ringers". that race should've been an absolute embarrassment for NASCAR but they lucked out and had an awesome finish, which was the only point in the race where they had actual racing aside from when Ambrose and Villeneuve were dicing through the field after restarting mid pack.

the track is just not suited for stock cars, much less the incredible collection of inexperienced drivers that somehow is always put together for this race. why does anyone think it's a good idea to put a guy in their car with 2 or less previous stock car starts on a track as difficult as this? and on top of that, they replace their regular driver who could actually use a few road course starts so he can gain experience and not be a total chump when he finally gets to run a road course.

They should just run the straight line into the first corner then, not the little double curve. That might help a little bit.

Track's fine. Teams need to hire competent drivers, that's all.

Track is not meant for 3400 lb stock cars. The corners are too tight, the braking zones too short.... if it were a clusterfuck due to inexperienced drivers, you wouldn't see villeneuve punching boris said or boris wrecking steven lollace. The track is set up for high end race cars, not heavy awkward stock cars.

I guess I'm not as elitist as some about the standard of track or show we should be allowing in NASCAR these days, but who gives a shit? The fact remains this event is a lone bright spot in an increasingly pointless series. That's probably an indication of how fucked Nationwide is these days, but I've loved every race they've run at Montreal. Racing in the rain, international drivers, an event outside of the US. The rest of the series and "competition" is a complete goatfuck and you think this track is worth complaining about? Show me another Nationwide race that gets this much attention these days.

The same thing can be said to the Truck Series nowadays.
