Carpentier will be in the 26 at Michigan

Quote:
UPDATE: Patrick Carpentier will again be driving the #26 Ford of Latitude 43 Motorsports for the Sprint Cup race at Michigan this weekend. Davis Stremme had been the driver until Sunday, according to owner Bill Jenkins and crew chief Frankie Stoddard. Stremme, however, announce Monday on Sirius XM Radio that he left the team. It was during the same show that Jenkins said Carpentier would probably be in his car at Michigan.(Rue Frontenac, translated by Google translate)(8-11-2010)

I think they were parking this race and Bristol with an unannounced driver before Speedworx's favourite driver comes in at Atlanta.

Speaking of Speedworx, the trucks at his favourite track this week will be awesome!

Awesome. Another reason for me to skip the Busch race.

Everyone will be on a more even playing field since no one knows much about making the new car handle on intermediate tracks, so she might actually be closer to the field than usual. Not like me to say anything positive regarding her but there you go. :)

I really don't mind Danica.... I mean, yeah, she can be a whiny little bitch, but in terms of female drivers that have actually shown up over the couple decades, she's really the only one who has had any level of talent. Granted, it's not a large amount of talent, but she's consistent. The only thing I can't stand is how sour an already brutal race coverage turns when she's in these Nationwide races.

BTW, in terms of Johanna Long, or even Simona de Silvestro - do they actually have talent? I really wouldn't mind hearing about a highly talented female driver, if there's one out there.

Like I've said before. At least when she wrecks, ESPN can't possibly miss it with one camera on the leaders and everybody else focusing on her.

The 7 will be PJ Jones now. Far as why he decided to do this I have no idea.

I'd prefer to hear about one that sponsors/teams didn't move up through the ranks too fast. Johanna Long has some talent in a SLM, but I think she's moving up too far and too fast.
