That was a bit of a lackluster finish, but nonetheless a pretty good race

Same here! I was really pumped for the last third of the race due to being a Montoya fan. Really thought something will go wrong again, but I am very, very, very happy now :D

Great to see Montoya win, although I was rooting for Ambrose. Would have liked to see his Sonoma loss get redeemed.

I'm pretty surprised NASCAR didn't throw a late yellow for those 2 cars that had issues at the end.. they usually love the late race restarts. Boris got what he deserved in that wreck, too.

Pleased with Kenseth getting 13th, seemed to keep his nose clean and get a decent finish.

Huh, everyone is happy after a race. Weird. It's so quiet. No dumb controversies to worry about...

JPM is relatively popular. There was some good racing. There was some fun wrecks (with no injuries). There wasn't many cautions and NASCAR did their best to keep them green. There seemed like less ads than normal, but that was watching it from Europe. Oh, and Jimmie and Kyle struggled.

A positive race!

That was the best non-plate race of the year by far! It was nice seeing Montoya, Ambrose, and Allmendinger up there all race. It would of been really epic if Montoya and Ambrose could of kept battling til the end though.

Holy shit, Montoya didn't choke! 8O Well enjoy the win, from one of the few Montoya haters on here.

And I don't know what's worse: Montoya winning or seeing all the Montoya fanboys gloating that it's the best thing they've ever seen. Unbelieveable...

It was an entertaining race, it's a shame that Ambrose didn't have anything for Montoya late in the race after how those two had a great battle for most of the race. I thought today was going to be Ambrose's day to get his first cup win.

Me too. Usually if Monty is leading, any excuse to throw a caution will be utilized. I'm thinking that Monty and Ambrose 1-2 didn't give NASCAR a compelling reason to bunch them up. If Harvick or somebody had been in 2nd, you can be damn sure the caution would have flown.

Was a good race, shame Robby was never a contender and Jr had a medicore run. Great for Monty though :flag:

NASCAR takes lugnuts from #47 team? [NASCAR Insiders] heard NASCAR took a box of lugnuts from Marcos Ambrose's Nationwide Series team during the race. Word is that they were illegal in some way. Don't be surprised if the team is penalized this week. Don't expect NASCAR will take the win away however.(NASCAR Insiders)(8-9-2010)

lol who cares?
