Carl Edwards is the first driver that I've ever seen blatantly wreck someone for the win, TELL US IN THE INTERVIEW (while smiling) that he did it intentionally, and not be significantly penalized. He is an embarrassment to the sport and NASCAR is spitting on its fans if they let this kind of bullshit continue and expect us to consider it legit. You can't keep drivers from trading paint coming to the finish, but there's a line between bumping someone out of the way and turning someone into the wall. These drivers all know where that line is. Dock the bastard a few cup races and see how he acts.

Oh, and I'll also say this:

Anyone who defends Earl for his actions (see 95% of the people on the NASCAR Facebook page) needs to be beheaded. I'll be proud to do the honours...

I watched the replay over and over. Here is what I come to. There is no way Carl knew that Brad had gotten a wee bit loose going into T1 on the last lap. Carl gave Brad ALL the room in the world and Brad still hit Carl. Carl was 3 lanes up the track and he still got hit. That would ***** anyone off that you give someone that much room and you still get hit. Brad didnt do anything wrong really. Yeah he made a mistake getting loose and getting into Carl but thats hard racing. Coming out of T4 Carl held his car a couple lanes off the wall knowing that Brad had to come up the track as physics would say so. So he held his car there, Brad moved up, they touched, Carl then turned into him to spin him out and wreck a bunch of race cars.

I can totally see why Carl was mad, doesnt mean what he did was right. If anything, he shoulda turned Brad in the corner, like a cross over move or something. It is what it is tho, Brad does ***** things too, just ask Denny Hamlin. NASCAR from what I read, looked the other way on last nite as just hard racing. Have at it boys and you can hurt eachother, just dont kill eachother, is basically how NASCAR is looking at it I guess. In a way tho, this is kinda entertaining seeing the rivalries come back, just wish they were because of hard racing with some bumping and banging, not people purposely getting turned infront of the field or at 190mph. They both have done it, just Carl's actions have had more car's destroyed.

i am pissed, and i love bobkez. however, the thing that i take away from this the most is a severe concern for carl's mental state. seriously, he is fucking retarded. this is dangerous. idk if it is roid rage or what. steven wallace has fucking tourettes and he doesn't even come close to doing shit this stupid. people can blah blah blah all day about brad 'starting it' but carl really crossed the line on this one. i really don't know what to say.

I'm sorry but this is just as simple as Carl succeded in what Brad failed to do.. and that's intentionally wrecking your rival.

Like I said Brad had nothing to do going 4 lines up trying to wreck Edwards.... he asked for it, and he got it!

Carl just acted like an asshole on this one. Brad didn't do anything wrong down turn 1 and 2. It's just hard racing for the win.
This crash could have been really serious; fortunately Brad is ok , but Carl's move was a dumbass move , no question about that.

Brad did do something wrong, not intentionally tho, that is the main difference. Brad did screw up and slid up into Carl who was almost 3 lanes up the track giving Brad room. Carl did do something wrong but it was intentional. Thats the difference in what makes what Brad did to Carl in T1 and what Carl did to Brad in T4 different.
