Back in 2015 I was literally watching the guys welding steel on the new grandstand project by the end of the day coming off turn 4 every lap.

Dave Mader III was quickest in the Saturday Morning Test Session. He hasn't raced at Daytona since the 1991 Twin 125 Qualifying Race.

Pocono & Monster Energy is doing a recycling promotion again this year that gives spectators a free entry into the ARCA race in June.

At least there seems to be a "farewell tour" / final year in full ARCA control (2019) before the true merger.

Hope there's no "gotta make it more like Cup" meddling before 2020.

ARCA is about to get fucked on their period, because they're throwing the towel in

Given the similarities, I imagine ARCA will be "absorbed" by the K&N East Series.

I'm thinking ARCA is going to become the K&N Central Series. We already have K&N East and K&N West but I guess NASCAR wants a series for the middle of the country. It sounds like they are going to leave Toledo, Salem and the 2 dirt tracks on the schedule since they are ARCA staples.

Short tracks will be under threat. Heck, they may even try to run a race at IMS instead of LOR.

Very sad news coming out of ARCA this morning. This is from Brad Smith's Twitter. Steve Waid, who wrote for NASCAR Winston Cup Scene is also reporting this.

RIP James Hylton
