Tri-County is now under new ownership & appears to be reopening for more weekly type races. The track has been a special events only venue for the last 10 years (after the county put some large restrictions on the venue, due to proximity with the neighborhood around it) |

In addition to Bonnett's crash last night, it sounds like last night was very eventful at Five Flags. - Ricky Brooks tackled a crew member: - Someone (not Harrison Burton) punted Rich Bickle in the LCQ, Bickle collected Burton, and Bickle confronted Burton. When told that Burton was not to blame, Bickle apologized to Burton, and the two hugged it out - Kim Burton (Harrison's mom and Jeff's wife) apparently broke her arm falling off the ladder of the Burton hauler: |

East Carolina Motor Speedway has closed down https://race22.online/east-carolina-mot ... oses-down/ This is the 3rd track in North Carolina to close down in 2019, the other 2 being Concord (sold to Copart) and Friendship (reopened mid-year by new management) |
