I'm bored so I have the Myers Brothers Awards lunch thing on in the background.. and I couldn't help but chuckle at Harvick's team winning the pit crew award.

This is pretty sad to see… demolition starting on the Diamond Tower at Charlotte.

That's a hard sight to see for me. I went to the All Star race from 2005-2011 then again in 2013 and we always sat there. :(

It's like watching a full cycle. NASCAR already peaked its attendance boom, now take all those big extra stands built in the late 90s back down. Before you know it they will have 40 row high wooden bleachers in a few spaces on the front stretch for the final few faithful.

Side note, the stands that extend through the middle of t3 and t4 at charlotte should go too.. I don't recall ever seeing them full, even in the boom days.

Damn. Sat several times there just a few years ago :(

Also did you see how is the new configuration of the road course coming along?

With the Gen 6 coming to K&N Pro, there's no reason not to run the full course now.

No roof flaps.

Got an old Chassis and put a 87 Thunderbird body on. Had some help in finding the parts. Car came out great.

The "lateral wheelbase" looks quite narrow with this body on, but great car nevertheless.

Don't blame him, if they don't have a ride for him, why stay? Maybe another team is giving him an offer.

I don't blame him either. I read an article about RFR being his likely destination. Hmm...

Remember Kez left HMS when there wasn't enough room for him. Seemed to work out well for him... I hope Bubba gets a FT ride. He deserves it.

Sounds like he's heading to Roush-Fenway for at least 22 Xfinity Series races next year from what I've seen being reported on Twitter by members of the media.

If it's Roush-Fenway I'm sure he'll chip in for a full season...If he sprung for Pastrana he better for Darrell

Did he really? I thought for sure Pastrana paid for it out of his own pocket, hence he could run that outlandish scheme too.
