But surely, you say, at least the Carolina Panthers were playing. Alas, you would be wrong. To be fair, WSOC TV allowed a UHF (and sister) station to carry the race.

And this is the state of Nascar even with one of the best seasons in history playing out what with record pole speeds, an exciting Race to the Chase, and stimulating Knock-Out Qualifying. Let's just hope the final 4 at Homestead are not 21st, 22nd, 23rd and 24th in the actual points standings. Could happen. Could also be another nail in Nascar's coffin.
