But the wife and I have already decided that we are going to go to the Southern 500 next year. I've never been to Darlington and my brother, who used to live in Charlotte, just moved to South Carolina. Our tradition has always been the All Star race and Memorial Day weekend at CMS. We've all decided to now switch it to Labor Day weekend and the Southern 500. 8)

Isn't it pretty damn hot there that time of year? Makes for great racing, but it's probably a long hot day in the sun. What do I know, though - "hot enough" for me is 85 degrees.

That is a decision you will not regret.

It's Sunday night, like Atlanta is now and Fontana has been.

Ahhhh I missed that, sorry. Damn... day races are (and always have been) better, IMO.

Hey, I'm not going to be picky with it being Sunday night. The fact that it's back to Labor Day weekend is such a win.

How many full time trucks are there now? The grids have been small this year BEFORE losing these trucks...

Kinda don't understand that one....They already are on a major shortage of teams, this series won't make it to next year at this rate.

Harry Scott sent a text saying "What's been reported is not true." Several employees have reported that they have been laid off, at least temporarily. I have no idea what is really going on here.

I can't help but to think that somebody will step up so Hornaday will get to run for the title, if he is indeed out of a ride. I wouldn't be surprised if it's RCR.

So just Hornaday is getting screwed? That blows, he's been having a great year so far.

Why must she always come off as such a big C?

meh, Ron's been going through what Todd Bodine went through a couple years ago: Old washed up driver succeeds due to god teir equipment.

Then again after Irwindale a few years ago I lost all respect for him.
