Just watched a couple minutes of the start of Xfinity qualifying and saw some data that was very interesting to me. They had the live telemetry onscreen for CJ McLaughlin's qualifying lap. He touched 200 MPH entering turn 1...and he was the slowest of the first 10 cars to go out, over a second slower than the time Hocevar set.

I consider that a pretty damning indictment of the Cup series, considering they're out there running slower cars, which produce significantly worse racing excitement, at a much higher cost.

All I know is I don't wanna miss the xFinity race this weekend.

I read the RSS Racing Haulers barely made it to the track in time because one of them broke down on the way to Michigan. They had just enough time to get through tech.
