Zippy is starting 33rd for today's race. Not bad considering he didn't get a lap of practice yesterday. He posted on Facebook that he had just pulled out on track for practice when it started raining. Glad he made it in.

Nice to see Landon Cassill giving Morgan Shepherd's car a good run. Running in the top 15 and they've got enough tires in their pit for the entire race.

Don't think it would have made much of a difference because the stage was ending anyway. This means that Custer can pit for tires now. He might not have been able to if he had gotten the free pass.

Zippy was 28th. Landon Cassill finished 14th in Morgan Shepherd's car. That is the first time that Morgan Shepherd's car has been running at the finish of a race since Las Vegas in 2013.

I think I'll watch. So, who has accumulated the most points over the season? What would the standings look like if there's was no playoff BS?

Not as invested in watching NASCAR as I used to be, but I don't think I'd mind Hamlin winning (for the first time) or Truex winning. Just don't want Kyle Busch to win.

I wonder if they detune the other cars outside the championship 4 so it could look as a direct contention for championship
