Talladega Superspeedway hosts the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series & NASCAR Gander Outdoors Truck Series for their annual fall weekend. As usual, Trucks will race on Saturday in the Sugarlands Shine 250 & Cup cars will race for 500 miles on Sunday in the 1000Bulbs.com 500. Both races are at the start (or) middle of the current playoff bracket of both series. This is the final 2+ mile superspeedway race of the season - as the rest of the schedule will be contested across various 1.5 milers, Phoenix & Martinsville.

* - Thompson Speedway Motorsports Park hosts the season finale for the NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour this Sunday, as apart of the Sunoco World Series weekend.

Oh boy, get ready for some manufacturers lining up and only helping each other! :yuk: Hopefully things will be better than the last few Talladega fall races. I hate the new rules package this year, except it actually has been pretty damn great at Daytona and Talladega.
