Darlington Raceway hosts the Bojangles Southern 500 this Sunday afternoon on Labor Day weekend - like the past several years, this is the annual throwback week hosted by the series & the track - this year's theme at the track is from 1990 to 1994, while teams have used paint schemes from various decades (from Glenn Wood's Sunliner, movie cars from Days of Thunder & Stroker Ace, "The Tabasco Fiasco" & several modern paint schemes from the late 90's and early 2000's). NASCAR XFINITY Series will also be in action at Darlington on Saturday.
DuQuoin State Fairgrounds will turn on the lights as they host the ARCA Menards Series on Saturday night in the Southern Illinois 100, while the USAC Silver Crown Champ Cars takes on their second of 3 mile races (after Springfield was postponed) of the 2019 season in the Ted Horn 100 on Sunday night.
Labor Day weekend also means it's time for one of the biggest Supermodified races of the year - the Budweiser International Classic 200 at Oswego Speedway. The weekend also includes the Dave London Memorial for New York Super Stocks on Friday, the Toyota Mod Classic 150 for the NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour & the ISMA SuperNationals on Saturday. Supporting the race card on Sunday is the SBS Supers & the 350 Winged Supers.
Elsewhere across NASCAR's regional & international tours: the NASCAR PEAK Mexico Series will be in action at Super Oval Potosino.
