Hate to admit but the new Cup package has put on some good racing so far. Chicagoland's back-n-forth between Larson and Bowman in the last quarter of the race was great to watch too.

When it's on a fast and smooth surface, the 1.5 milers work well. Probably cause the aero-dependence ain't THAT bad.

Not the best solution, but better than what we had before at those tracks.

Now they have to get the 750 hp pack, try to reduce downforce and raise horsepower. And use it on tracks with an older surface and Michigan.

The problem is even when there are good battles, I still can't feel very emotionally invested in the racing when they're like goddamn slot cars and there's only a 4 or 5mph difference between mid-corner speed and top end speed.

Nascar will never get the message. They think that big packs equals good racing. It doesn't when they can only pass 5-10 laps after a restart! The cars are fake, the tracks are fake, the racing is fake. You'd think after they's seen their attendance drop to a few thousand people they'd get the message, but the clowns they got running the show are too goddamn stupid to figure it out. Pack racing is fun EXACTLY 4 times a year. That's it. The rest of the time, the real-ass fans want to see drivers actually DRIVING the GODDAMN CARS. All this aero-dependency is a fucking travesty. Take away the aero, relax the restrictions, and let these guys put their money where their goddamn mouth is and RACE! Jesus Fucking Christ is it so hard to understand? No one wants to see high speed parades, no one is paying to SEE THIS SHIT. It's manufactured racing, and it is so goddamn disappointing. They lucked out with the storybook finish two weeks in a row and they are selling it low and buying high. It's weak and pathetic, get your shit together Nascar before you lose everyone

Chicagoland is the exact opposite of smooth. Drivers have been saying with this package, night racing works better.

Oh yes, the weather dependency as well. More horsepower, less tyre wear, more drag, more downforce, more mechanical grip.

Chicagoland still ain't no Atlanta or Fontana, or sunny Las Vegas.
