Daytona International Speedway hosts their annual July 4th / Firecracker 400 weekend on the 2.5 mile superspeedway of 2019 this weekend with the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series on Saturday, and the NASCAR XFINITY Series on Friday. This is the final time that Daytona will host the Firecracker 400 weekend in the month of July, as they move to become the regular season finale in 2020.

The outlaws of the Tour invades rival territory to do battle with the Long Island Gang at the Riverhead Raceway this Saturday night - as the NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour competes in the Buzz Chew Chevrolet 200. Heading up the weekly regular contingent includes Tom Rogers Jr., John Fortin, John Baker & Roger Turbush - Rogers is 41 points back from Kyle Soper in the track points presently. Several outlaw infiltrators & other competitors from the Long Island Gang look to win on home turf - including defending Tour champ Bonsignore, Solomito, Goodale, past Southern Modified champ GB3 & Kyle Ellwood to name a few.

Race either won't be happening today or will happen very, very late. Qualifying for Cup was thundered out and the radar isn't any better right now.

The grass in the trioval is completely waterlogged.
