Not just how far but how FAST. This same race last season had 30 cars. At the finish 18 were still on the lead lap.

So we went from 18 on the lead lap to 18 total in one year. The 12th place qualifier today was 4.2 seconds off the pole! While I admit Charlotte was pretty decent, today was almost unwatchable. The short track races at Salem, Nashville, and Toledo only had 12 good cars with about 6 field fillers that either finish 20 laps down or park. It's pretty dark times for ARCA right now. Now we look ahead to an 18 car field at Michigan. :whistling:

Updated the main post

-

FansChoice.TV has decided to cover the support divisions at Cayuga, that being the OSCAAR Modifieds & OSCAAR Hot Rods

For those in Canada: TSN was originally slated to stream the Pinty's race live on their website, unclear if this has changed

I was looking at this too and every race this year has had several fewer cars than the previous race at the same track

This race at Pocono had the largest difference, down 11 cars from the 2018 race. Charlotte and Nashville had 6 less cars than their last race and everything else is 4 or 5 less.

so going with the same trends, Michiga will around have 20 cars next week. The short track races will be interesting, Madison had 19 cars last year, will they be <15 this time?

The Xfinity race was good. Lots of battling in the middle portion of the race and Custer won after passing Reddick on the last corner.
