Is that the Harrison Ford movie from the 80s, or is this the movie that came out a year or two ago?

They are both great. There are several versions of the original (I prefer the Director's Cut).

Decent 4wide action on that restart there. Good on Truex for grabbing that win.

Personally I enjoyed this race. Suprisingly, better than the other big two

Just popped in on the race for a moment and now we’ve...parked all the cars for the troops?

What a bleak and diseased culture this is...
NOTHING wrong with honoring our fallen and active servicemen and women!

Having said that, smart money says this wasn't really about that but was a trial balloon for adding halftime to the races on a larger basis.

Didn't watch, so I'm not sure how it affected the flow of the race.

Monaco was good, Indy was great, and T-Rex won the forever lameass 600, and dedicated it to his sick doggo, and forever best mate. Ya today was a good day

I understand it's Memorial Weekend but surely they do enough honouring of service personnel before the race? Also the cars had the names of soldiers on them and the announcers mentioned who they were, etc.

It's one of those things you can't say anything against. So when a dumbass comes up with an idea like this, you have to go with it because if you say anything, YOU DON'T CARE ABOUT THE TROOPS HUR DUR.

It would be the opposite in the UK sadly, merely proposing the idea to honour the troops would be seriously offensive to some in certain parts of the Country, glad I gave this one a miss, after being up since 5am Sunday I barely made the end of the 500, was gonna do myself dam amaze if I forced myself to stay awake for this lol.

I don't know what race people were watching but the cars could only pass each other in the first 5 laps after a restart. After that there was so much aero push that you could see the cars lose the nose.

when they halted the field at the halfway point I thought they were going to display a message from the president in the jumbotron, which would be even more bizarre
