Sooo...how was truck race?

Restarts were batshit insane for the most part, several "how did they not wreck???" moments on those first couple laps. Then once they got single file things spread out BIGTIME. Someone cut a tire and left debris on track for a late caution, and the final restart with 3 to go was actually pretty lame and Kyle Busch whipped the field. Thank God that's his last Truck race this year.

NASCAR seems to think fans just want to see side by side racing somewhere in the field. Even if it’s for 12th place that’s good enough for them. NASCAR might as well not count laps or positions and just let the cars go around the track in a timed session if that’s what they think is important. Absolutely nothing happened at the front of the field during green flag shit which is awful for a sport built on parity.

Actually had a couple decent finishes in the Open segments. I'm surprised.

Those finishes were actually really fucking good. Now, prepare yourself for the actual race to be a fuckfest of shit.

Eh, hard to care about those finishes. Pure fabrication of this arcade racing package.

bring back real crashing. srsly, they seem to be making a ton of contact but nothing comes of it.

just as I say that, the 11 spins but still

The only possible good outcome is Kyle Busch winning and calling the cars shit in his interview. Extra bonus points if he burns Dave Moody by name.

weird to see Kyle bouncing the wall

I also don't like seeing the cars wobbling but not spinning, the are too stable

I noticed Bowyer went over and to try to punch Newman while he was still in the car. Bowyer cut down on Newman after the flag and put himself into the wall.

The All Star race was actually really good. I am not one to be real positive about NASCAR of late but that was a really, really good race.

I was so happy to see Bubba win a stage in the open. He needed a win. Any win. Then they go and get a top 5? Well done, lads. Good fucking show

I watched the Open and like the first 15-20 laps of the All Star race, but didn't get to see much of it. Did the hood ducts and new splitter make any difference?

I don't know if they were the cause of it, or Charlotte just being suited to the package but the racing was rather good I thought.

Modified race was pretty crazy, alot of laps under yellow sadly from incidents tho. Pitkat got the win after Ron Slik got wrecked on the 2nd to last restart. home track regular Blake Barney got 2nd, and Rob Summers got 3rd crossing the line backwards after having contact off of turn 4 that send Dave Sapizena into the infield wall as he crossed the finish line in 5th. Tommy Catalano finished 4th
