Why does it seem like almost everyone who covers NASCAR in some form in the media seems like a completely miserable asshole?

I'm inclined to believe that they are obligated to "sell out" to NASCAR and agree with mostly everything they do.

I say mostly everything because Texas.

I love the smartasses that point out cars who started in the back and made their way ahead. But the point these NASCAR media shills are missing (either purposely or they're just as dumb as the people working in their R&D department) is that Kyle is saying that you have to have a HUGE advantage over the guy in front to pass him, in order to overcome the aero obstacle this package creates. Like Joe pointed out, Kyle calls a turd a turd, even in victory lane after the first race with the boxy Gen-5 monstrosity that for me started the downfall that has almost reach rock bottom now.

It's like when someone says "it's hard to pass" a lot of people interpret that as the person saying "it is quite literally impossible to pass" so they can be like "but Driver X went from the back to the front, therefore it is possible to pass!" Nobody fucking said it's quite literally impossible to pass, we're just saying it's way harder to pass than it should be.
