only 22 cars for ARCA, wow what a disaster

some of those are start and parks as well, so probably 15-18 cars that will run the full race

ARCA isn't like most big series (NASCAR / IndyCar etc.) where entries are final.

Some teams do entries just a couple days before the race or just show up to the track. Also takes ARCA time to add them to the site I would think

Better than 15 cars in K & N East or 19 cars in what is supposed to be Canada's main stock car series...

an arca race with 20 cars is usually better than a full cup field

They had 22 at Salem this year... That was pretty damn depressing. 22 cars at Salem works for sprint cars like USAC, but for a decent stock car race I think you need at least 28-30.

ARCA has never had big car counts at Elko. Looking at the entry list right now, I see 3 start and parks at the most entered.

Yeah. I've seen plenty of guys question each other's judgement, say they ran out of talent, and all that. But I don't know if I've ever heard a driver say another driver outright sucks...until today.
