So pick something else to pass the time.

Nah, I prefer Lingerie Football League 8)

Will try to download some old races and watch it too, best way not to suffer the effects of Racing abstinence.

Did she drop a glass of water and blame the boyfriend for being too near her and he decided to GTFO of there?

Apparently there's a rumor about RCR switching to Dodge. It'll be discussed tonight on RaceHub.

Ganassi already left the EGR engine alliance for Hendrick engines, so they lost a big partner there. Partnering up with Dodge sounds logical, hope it happens.

Has Childress ever run anything besides Chevy? They seem too entrenched in the GM camp to consider a switch to Dodge, would love to see it happen and Dodge back in the sport though.

I have a feeling that will be the demise of RCR... With Harvick leaving, Burton most likely retiring in the near future, both of the talentless Dillon brothers going to cup with God knows who else on the team, adding Dodge to what was a purebred Chevy team seems destructive. That's almost like Hendrick saying they are going to Dodge.

But who knows, maybe Andretti will form a partnership with RCR and they will be successful.

It is way to late to do a change of this magnitude for a 3 car operations (4 if you include Furniture Row).

It would be weird as fuck seeing RCR in anything other than Chevy.

Yes. When Childress was still driving himself he split the 1978 through 1980 seasons between Chevrolet and Oldsmobile. Became a Pontiac team in 1981 and 1982 before switching back to Chevrolet in 1983, and has remained with them since.

I second this. Don't think I could ever see RCR aligning themselves with Ford or Toyota.

But then again, all the GM teams ran different cars between '78 and '80, depending on the track. The Olds was the hot package on the fast tracks, for example, and in '81 and '82, there were just better options than the Chevy, which is why so many teams ran Buicks, for instance.

Kind of like back in the early 2000's, Chevy Busch teams would run Pontiac's on the superspeedways.
