Still, you got to wonder what motorsports programming we'll be losing with the change.

No Trucks? No F1? No Rolex Series (or Le Mans for that matter)?

Mosport, Mid-Ohio and Road America for the Trucks would be fucking awesome.

The Trucks haven't had road courses on their schedule since 2000, so they're long overdue for some races where they turn left AND right.

South Boston and Myrtle Beach being on the truck series schedule is something I can get behind. Can always use more short tracks on the schedule.

Wasn't there a rumor a while back that most of Speed's programing was going to be moved to a channel called "Fuel" by like 2014 or 2015? Maybe I'm thinking of something else.

That makes sense, Fuel is owned by FOX I think? And with SPEED's UFC promotions and all of the UFC crap on Fuel... I could see that happening.

Yeah, FUELtv is owned by FOX. It was mainly the channel for action sports (eg, snowboarding, freestyle skiing, MX, BMX, skateboarding, and what have you) until FOX got that UFC contract.

Was just announced that Kurt Busch is going to Furniture Row Racing next season. Wonder where that leaves Regan Smith now.

Happy for Kurt, hopefully he can turn his career around and have some great runs in the 78.

I'd really like to see Regan Smith in the 43 car.

On the side lines until Kurt gets sacked and he's needed back.

Pretty shitty way to treat Regan who gave a pretty ordinary car some great runs, and usually brought the car home otherwise. Look forward to seeing Kurt run top 10 in the first 50 laps then lose his shit and wreck every race next year. Hope Regan gets a good ride.

How is that a shitty way to treat Regan? It's not like they sacked him in the middle of the season or before a contract was up.

I still think you'll see Kurt in an RCR car at some point, maybe 2014. He had discussions with Childress before going to Finch's team and the 78 has a deal with RCR. Too bad for Smith though. He's given that car some really good runs.

I saw that Travis Pastrana will be in the #98 truck at Las Vegas.

ARCA driver Ryan Reed will be making his truck series debut at Las Vegas driving the #5 truck for Richie Wauters. Ryan Reed even being in NASCAR is quite remarkable considering doctors said he wouldn't be able to race after being diagnosed with Diabetes in 2011.

Maybe he is using the Novolog flexpen by Charlie Kimball.

I just saw that the Trucks will be racing at Rockingham again next year.
