That sucks to hear about Dave Blaney, but that is the risk you take when you only bring one car to race weekend, especially at places like Daytona and Dega. |

In that second photo, you see a kid with a yellow-orange-ish shirt. If you watch one of the angles from the video, he is the prime example of why there's a line you're supposed to stay behind (down by the fence). Close call for that kid! |

Kenny Wallace can provide good input from a driver's perspective but good grief is he bad when commentating in the moment. He barely even uses words; just sort of lets sounds jump out of his face.

It kind of reminds me of the nationwide race a few years ago at Daytona (2010?) when they cut out of a commercial break to a big wreck and Andy Petree (I think) was making a bunch of similar sounds.

The one like that I remember is the raw feed footage of Keselowski's Nationwide wreck at Fontana in '07. Petree sounded slightly panicked before the broke out of the commercial break. |

The epitome of "making strange sounds in the moment" has to be Carlton Kirby et al. right before and during Davidson's crash at Le Mans: Bad quality, but can't find better. |
