Well, we can count the #8 out of the championship run, in one way or another.

Dunno, seems like the most NASCAR finish of all time to me

It's not a sport mannnnn, it's a show.

They want to encourage shit like this, not prohibit it.

Holy shit, the delusion Nemechek is displaying in this interview is depressing.

What's the point of racing at all if "do what you gotta do" just means you get to guiltlessly wreck whoever the fuck you want to win?

I mean, why bother waiting to the end of the race to do it? Why not just dump everyone for every spot until you're the last one standing? It sounds absurd but it's consistent with this shitty "do what you gotta do" logic that's spreading like a virus.

Ah, that old cop out.

What makes it entertaining is the competition. If all people want to see is just pure wrecking and rage, they can watch demo derbies or action movies.

Coming out of the last corner, Custer was right on the edge of the track....JH just flat out nerfed him into the grass. That's not racing, that's bullshit. Those two could've ran side-by-side, door-to-door all the way to the flag and it would've been a great finish. Maybe not as good as Darlington '03, but close to Harvick and Edwards at Phoenix this spring.

Epic classic best finish ever. Glad they didn't took JHN win. That was Nascar as fuck. Ever since Darlington 2003. This one will be remembered. If they don't want to let wins like this happen, then make a rule on the rule book about it.

Also, JHN didn't want to shove him into the grass. He just wanted to bump and get the most grip out of the corner. But he wheel-spined it and the cars hooked together. After that is just craziness.

It was pathetic like, four times over. Hit him in the last left hander, hit him again in the last right hander, knocked him off the track after that, and then just pinned him to the wall all the way to the line.

I know many of us deal in hyperbole these days but, that seriously could not have been more flagrant.

Well they let Chase keep the win when ramming Austin out the way.

You mean Ty Dillon, right?

Man, this conflation entertainment and sports as identical concepts runs deep. That's an actual competitor in the series who doesn't know what the fuck his career actually is.

:o

The only legitimate good finish was Blaney/Quiroga.

And it was so damn good.

Nemechek showed he'll never have any place in the Cup series.

A shame the Truck and XF "Chases" are on some of the most boring tracks ever built
