But he did become the first fish to go around Daytona.

Actually, FOX needs to do that for their ad, showing highlights of that.

Why is there no entry list out yet as of 1:00 Eastern? Don't they practice tomorrow?

Also I'm watching the media day coverage (didn't even know it was on). I think it is kind of dumb that the drivers are wearing there driving suits. It just seems weird. They can't wear regular clothes to answer questions?

I think they have their suits on for all the TV graphics and promo shots and stuff. Like when FOX goes to break and they show the leading driver standing there with a bunch of crazy graphics and shit...that's part of what's going on today. Just getting each driver to do a few poses and say a few things in front of the green screen.

Shouldn't Kvapil be locked in and Richardson be a GOGH car?

Richardson brings some cash with him so it could be that he wanted to be guaranteed a spot in the field or the deal wouldn't have taken place, leaving FRM with only two cars instead of three...or it could just be they felt Kvapil has the best chance of racing his way into the field. If Kvapil doesn't make the race in the #38 then I guess it's tough luck for him but he'll be right back in the locked in #37 car for Phoenix and it will at least have earned some owner points at Daytona.

Meh, I'm already tired of this two-car hookup business already. :p

Better get used to it then, it'll be this way for another 20 years unless they make the noses not line up with the bumpers again.

I think it's a little more than just bumpers lining up. That helps plenty but I think it's so powerful as a result of all the factors combined: draggy cars, engine/plate package, smooth surface (makes it easy to stay hooked up for the entire lap).

But yeah, from the way the last couple Talladega races have been, it's pretty obvious that it's here to stay. It's going to make the finishes crazy because they're all definitely going to be decided that way with all the drivers clamoring to find a partner then stay hooked up at all costs.
